Swapping a terminal battery
Replace the battery in a portable card machine safely.
Power the terminal off
Hold the yellow key (or the power button) until it shuts down fully before you open it up.
Open the battery cover
Turn the terminal over and slide or unclip the cover on the back. Lift out the old battery — note which way round it sits and where the connector clips in.
Fit the new battery
Line the contacts up, seat the battery, reconnect the small connector if there is one, and clip the cover back on.
Charge before use
Pop it on charge and let it build up before a busy shift. If the terminal won't hold charge with a fresh battery, contact us.
