Power & charging issues
Fix a terminal that won't charge, hold charge or turn on.
Check the cable and plug
Use the supplied charger — third-party plugs often don't deliver enough power. Try a different socket and make sure the connector is fully pushed in.
Clean the charging contacts
On base-charged terminals, dust on the metal contacts stops it charging. Give the contacts on the terminal and base a gentle wipe.
Leave it to charge
A fully flat battery can take a few minutes before the screen even responds. Leave it plugged in for fifteen minutes before deciding it's dead.
Won't hold charge?
If a fully charged terminal drains fast, the battery may be worn — see 'Swapping a battery', or call us for a replacement under our 24-hour service.
