Pairing your terminal over Bluetooth
Link a portable terminal to its base or a device using Bluetooth.
Put both devices in range
Keep the terminal and the base (or tablet) within a couple of metres of each other while you pair — it's a one-off setup.
Open Bluetooth settings
On the terminal, go to Menu then Settings then Connectivity and choose Bluetooth. Turn it on if it isn't already.
Find and pair
Tap Search, pick the base or device from the list, and confirm the matching code shown on both screens. They'll remember each other afterwards.
Confirm the link
A Bluetooth symbol in the top bar means you're paired. If it drops out, see our 'Connecting Bluetooth' guide.
