Reconnecting Bluetooth when it drops
What to do when your terminal loses its Bluetooth connection.
Check you're in range
Bluetooth has a short range. Bring the terminal back near its base — thick walls and other wireless kit can break the link.
Toggle Bluetooth off and on
On the terminal, go to Settings then Connectivity then Bluetooth, switch it off, wait a few seconds, then switch it back on.
Re-pair if needed
If it won't reconnect, 'forget' the old pairing and pair again from scratch using our 'Pairing Bluetooth' guide.
Still dropping?
Persistent drops can mean interference or a faulty base. Call 0191 432 6588 and we'll check it under our 24-hour service.
